Dr. Yiannis A. Katsigiannis

Dr. Yiannis A. Katsigiannis was born in Athens, Greece.

He received the Diploma in Production Engineering and Management, the Diploma in Environmental Engineering, the M.Sc. degree, and the Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Crete.

Since December 2017, he is Assistant Professor with the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, in the area of “Renewable energy systems optimization”.

His research areas are related to renewable energy sources and their integration to power systems, autonomous power systems, energy storage, smart grids, energy saving, and artificial intelligence.

He is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
