Σύντομο Βιογραφικό:

O Ευτύχιος Κουτρούλης γεννήθηκε στα Χανιά το 1973. Έλαβε το πτυχίο, το μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα ειδίκευσης και το διδακτορικό του δίπλωμα από το Τμήμα Ηλεκτρονικών Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης το 1996, 1999 και 2002, αντίστοιχα. Από τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2002 διετέλεσε επισκέπτης καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Ηλεκτρονικών Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης. Επίσης, έχει εργασθεί ως επισκέπτης ερευνητής στο Department of Energy Technology του Aalborg University (Aalborg, Δανία). Από τον Ιανουάριο του 2012 υπηρετεί ως Επίκουρος Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Ηλεκτρονικών Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης. Από τον Απρίλιο του 2011 είναι μέλος του Editorial Board του περιοδικού Renewable Energy. Από τον Ιούλιο του 2015 είναι Senior Member της ΙΕΕΕ.
